____About Annette

A Belgian native, Annette emigrated to the United States in her twenties. Annette first exhibited as a photographer, exploring old techniques like Bromoil and Lith printing before taking up painting. She has taken classes and workshops at the Visual Arts Center and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and at the Ballinglen Arts Foundation in Ireland. 

Since 2004, Annette has been a member and active supporter of Artspace, a collective of artists and a nonprofit gallery in Richmond, VA. She has exhibited her photographs and paintings  internationally and in the greater Richmond area.
